By participating in this donation activity each individual (a “User”) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to this donation activity.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary for a donation to be made.
The donation activity is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry or age of majority in the jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. In addition, an eligible User will have satisfactorily completed the entry requirements below as determined by Sponsor (as defined below) at its sole discretion. These Official Rules are void where prohibited or restricted by law and are subject to all applicable international, federal, provincial, and local laws, restrictions, prohibitions and regulations.
You may participate in the donation activity as provided herein from October 20, 2021 through November 20, 2021 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Entry Period”).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Those entering the donation activity as instructed on Sponsor’s Twitter channel, corporate website, or via the email you received regarding this donation activity.
Limit one (1) donation per person/email address per Whitepaper (as defined below) downloaded. After the first Whitepaper downloaded that is associated with a certain email address, additional downloads of the Whitepaper will not result in additional monies being donated by Sponsor.
Each time the whitepaper entitled Librarian Futures (“Whitepaper”) is downloaded from Sponsor’s site, Sponsor will donate $1 USD (one dollar) to the organization Computer Aid. Sponsor will donate a minimum of $2,500 USD (two thousand five hundred dollars) to a maximum of $5,000 USD (five thousand dollars). For more information on the organization Computer Aid, please visit their website at www.computeraid.org. Should Sponsor be unable to donate to Computer Aid, Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion to provide the donations earned under this donation activity to a non-profit organization of its choice.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE SPONSOR AND/OR its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and donation activity agencies, dealers, distributors, suppliers, prize providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents (“Sponsor Parties”) BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS DONATION ACTIVITY. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this donation activity, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration conducted in Ventura County, California, USA, pursuant to the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this donation activity, but in no event attorney’s fees. If for any reason the donation activity is not capable of running as planned, including for reasons of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the donation activity, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the donation activity and to prosecute any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. In the event the donation activity is terminated, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the donation in an amount determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable donation activity up to time of such action.
The Sponsor and/or the Sponsor Parties will not be responsible for lost, late, incorrect, incomplete, stolen, garbled, misdirected, undelivered or delayed entries or for entries not received by the end of the Entry Period; or for printing, distribution, production, technical, human or any and all other errors whatsoever relating in any way to or in connection with the donation activity, including, without limitation, errors in any advertising materials, the administration of the donation, the processing of entries or the announcement of the total amount donated.

The donation activity and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA.
